Quite recently, I have gotten the itch to take up the electric guitar again and see what's been left unsaid. The past few months, I've been building up a pedal board and even acquired a fab electric guitar and a looper. Many thanks to Trade Up Music in Portland, Oregon for helping me put together a great kit, as most of the gear is used or I traded in old gear to help with the costs. The missing piece… I have been saving my pennies for an amplifier. I've never actually owned a proper valve amp in my musical career. Well, quite recently, my dear friend and musical collaborator, made sure I have a tube amp in my life. Oh, my friend… you've given me a Festivus miracle!

So, in this first week of letting the valves warm, I did a bit of recording. Here is a collection of raw, improvised works, recorded live, and is about the closest thing to being here in the room with me, merrily making music that makes my heart happy in the quiet hours at home in Milwaukie, Oregon. An exploration of tones, from ambient to rocking with the Ibanez Talman TM302, the Blackstar HT-5R, a fistful of pedals from TC Electronic, and a Crybaby Mini Wah pedal.
