Learning a new instrument is good for the brain, good for healing. After years of playing plucked and strummed stringed instruments, hand percussion, Tibetan singing bowls, and voice, I decided to get some keys in the midst of the pandemic. Around the beginning of February, 2022, I started teaching myself piano on a red Casio CT-S1 keyboard.

Introspectives is a collection of improvised works, a musical diary of my learning journey, recorded from May 25th to December 28th, 2022. Thanks for listening! ~Hamid
